In the third quarter, Miles' James Byner recovered a snap on an Albany State field goal attempt and made a lateral pass to Antonio Nelson, who ran 80 yards for a touchdown. <br>

Miles (1-1) scored again with 8:35 left in the game when Perry Tisdale ran 2 yards into the end zone for a TD. But the team was unable to score again.
