SAN FRANCISCO - Chipper Jones was scratched from the Atlanta Braves' lineup Thursday night after twisting his right knee during batting practice. <br>

Jones is hitting .289 with 21 homers and 73 RBI's this season. He was hitting .364 over his last nine games, but he hurt himself while taking batting practice at Pacific Bell Park before the Braves' game against the San Francisco Giants. <br>

Darren Bragg took Jones' place in left field, and Andruw Jones moved into the cleanup spot. <br>

The Braves also played without All-Star catcher Javy Lopez, who had a bruised left leg after fouling a ball off his shin Wednesday night.
