FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS - After spending an hour and a half working on team drills, including field goals and punting, the Arkansas Razorbacks ended two-a-day practices by snacking on watermelons.
Razorback head coach Houston Nutt said the team focused on teamwork instead of individual instruction after noticing a few mistakes during the Friday morning workout.
``After watching the film from this morning we were not satisfied with some of the missed assignments,'' Nutt said. ``Sometimes you leave the field thinking things are all right, but then you go back and look and see they need to be corrected.
``We opened with punt protection then moved right into game-type situations. We worked on assignments, substitutions, getting the play off before the 25-second clock expired and a lot of different things like that.''
Fan Day will be Saturday, followed by a closed practice session at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
