GAINESVILLE - The public is being invited to view first-hand and close-up Friday Hall County's first acquisition under the Georgia Greenspace Program.<br>

The Georgia Urban Forest Council in conjunction with the Georgia Forestry Commission and Hall County officials will be discussing plans for the 48-acre tract.<br>
<br>
The piece of land includes a rock shoal area, a historic mill site, hardwoods and open spaces. It was purchased by Hall County in 2001 for one million dollars.<br>
<br>
During the tour, Charles Bailey, Georgia Forestry Commission Senior Forester, will discuss the Forest Stewardship Plan prepared by the forestry commission and the first created for property purchased in the greenspace program.<br>
<br>
The two-hour Williams Mill Ramble begins at 10:00; the property is on Blackjack Road near Flowery Branch.
