MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA - Kennesaw State used five home runs to power past Grand Valley State, 7-5, Wednesday and advance to the semifinals of the Division II tournament. <br>

Dustin Atkinson led the way with two homers, including a two-run shot in the eighth that gave the Owls a 6-5 lead. <br>

Kennesaw State's Scott Conway homered in the ninth to cap the scoring. <br>

Kennesaw State (40-17) will play Central Missouri State Thursday. Grand Valley State (41-14) was eliminated. <br>

Travis King (4-2) gave up three hits in four innings of relief to pick up the win. <br>
<br>
David Olson (3-4) surrendered three runs on two Owls homers in 3 1/3 innings of relief to get the loss. <br>
<br>
Atkinson went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in fourth and the two-run blast in the eighth. Conway, Clint Watters and Travis Evans also homered for the Owls. <br>

Joe Brunink went 3-for-5 with a home run to lead Grand Valley State.
