Women today have more earnings potential and career choices than ever before. In fact, in 2001, women represented 46.6% of the workforce, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But many women are still intimidated by investing. A recent survey by a brokerage firm showed that while 82% of men are confident in their investing abilities, only just more than half of the women polled said they felt confident investing.
