Taylor County (31-1) advances to Saturday's championship game against the winner of today's second game between Landmark Christian and Jenkins County. <br>

The Lady Vikings held Athens Academy scoreless for the first 7:20, but the Lady Spartans (21-7) pulled within two, 10-8, on a basket by Elizabeth Lewis with 2:56 left in the half. <br>

Taylor, which won the last of its nine state titles in 1995, had eight different players score and led by as many as 15 in the fourth quarter. <br>

Elizabeth Guess scored 12 points for Athens Academy.
