PERRY - A team of fugitive hunters have arrested a second man in connection with a suspected three-million-dollar fraud scheme.
Forty-four-year-old Dennis Bledsoe was discovered in a home in the middle Georgia town of Perry Friday at 10 a.m. after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation received a tip. Bledsoe was one of two Georgia Technology Authority employees accused of diverting millions in state money.
The other defendant -- 44-year-old L.R. Silas -- was arrested January 31.
Both are accused of siphoning money for personal use at the state agency for telecommunications and Internet operations. Officials say an employee reported illegal billing by a contractor.
GBI spokesman John Bankhead says police are investigating people outside state government who may also have been involved.
