Bond set for Oglethorpe County teacher charged with molestation

<p>) _ Bond has been set at $200,000 for an Oglethorpe County High School teacher charged with molesting a 15-year-old female student.</p><p>Patrick Sean Glancy, 35, of Crawford was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation, three counts of child molestation and a single count of enticing a child for indecent purposes, said Oglethorpe County Sheriff Jason Lowe.</p><p>He remains in county jail.</p><p>Bond was originally denied but a Superior Court judge set it at $200,000 after a motion was filed by Glancys attorney, District Attorney Bob Lavender said Wednesday.</p><p>The alleged molestation occurred over a period of time and involved just the one student, Lowe said.</p><p>Glancy, who resigned his position as an English teacher two days before his arrest, has not been indicted.</p>
