Two arrested in Oakwood home invasion

OAKWOOD - Oakwood Police report two arrests following a home invasion Tuesday night at Lanier Mill Circle Apartments.

Chief Randall Moon says the suspects forced their way inside a unit after they knocked on the door and it was opened. Chief Moon says no one was hurt, but the people in the apartment were "tied up with tape" and robbed at gunpoint.

Moon said Demetrius Wayne Nix and Rubenz Deus were arrested shortly afterward by one of his officers and a Hall County Sheriff's Deputy. They are charged with aggravated assault, burglary, theft by taking and armed robbery.

He said the incident happened about 8:30.
