Dan Snyder remains unconscious and in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital following Monday night's high-speed chase. Snyder's skill was fractured.

Heatley is charged with reckless driving. He already has posted a 50-thousand-dollar bond, set during a hearing involving a prosecutor and Heatley's attorney.

An expert in grief counseling warned yesteday that Heatley could be in for some dark days. Len Tuzman is director of social work at The Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York City. He says Heatley will have to deal with feelings of guilt and remorse.
