Firefighters responded about 7:54 p.m. to reports of a blaze at the one-story home. Macon-Bibb County Fire Chief Jimmy Hartley said flames were coming out of the front and side windows when crews arrived.
``They immediately found three victims,'' Hartley said.
Tamiya Lowe, 2, was found dead in the bathroom, fire and police officials said. Her 3-year-old brother, Terriell Burnette Jr., and Demetrius Rayford, 34, were resuscitated at the scene, but later died at The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
It was unclear if the victims died from smoke inhalation or burns. Fire investigators have not determined cause of the blaze.
``The bulk of the fire does seem to be in the front bedroom,'' Hartley said. ``We did find two smoke detectors in the house; neither had batteries.''
