Three killed in Macon house fire

MACON - A man and two children died Wednesday night in a house fire in Macon, officials said. <br> <br> Firefighters responded about 7:54 p.m. to reports of a blaze at the one-story home. Macon-Bibb County Fire Chief Jimmy Hartley said flames were coming out of the front and side windows when crews arrived. <br> <br> ``They immediately found three victims,&#39;&#39; Hartley said. <br> <br> Tamiya Lowe, 2, was found dead in the bathroom, fire and police officials said. Her 3-year-old brother, Terriell Burnette Jr., and Demetrius Rayford, 34, were resuscitated at the scene, but later died at The Medical Center of Central Georgia. <br> <br> It was unclear if the victims died from smoke inhalation or burns. Fire investigators have not determined cause of the blaze. <br> <br> ``The bulk of the fire does seem to be in the front bedroom,&#39;&#39; Hartley said. ``We did find two smoke detectors in the house; neither had batteries.&#39;&#39;
