Farm economists see positive signs for 2003

TIFTON - Farm economists see a glimmer of hope in 2003 for improved prices on at least two of Georgia&#39;s major commodities, cotton and peanuts. <br> <br> As the state&#39;s Number One industry has been plagued by drought and low commodity prices in recent years. But that could change this year. <br> <br> Forecasters expect sufficient soil moisture for spring planting, and economists say there is a possibility of higher prices for cotton and peanuts, the state&#39;s top cash row crops. <br> <br>
