Man who beat former House Speaker Tom Murphy offers to honor him

ATLANTA - The Republican who booted House Speaker Tom Murphy from office last November has introduced a resolution honoring him. <br>

Representative Bill Heath of Bremen says he wants people to know he respects Murphy, the powerful House Speaker for nearly 30 years. <br>
<br>
Other Republicans joined as co-sponsors, including House Republican Leader Lynn Westmoreland. The full chamber has not voted on the resolution.
