More charges against Griffin teacher aide

GRIFFIN - A total of 24 charges involving sexual misconduct with students have been lodged against a former Spalding High School teacher&#39;s aide. <br> <br> Griffin authorities say four new counts were added Friday. <br> <br> Spalding County authorities arrested 21-year-old Lauren Summers -- a paraprofessional and assistant coach at Spalding High School in Griffin -- last week. <br> <br> Summers resigned when school officials began investigating the allegations. <br> <br> Summers was arrested and charged Tuesday night with enticing a child for indecent purposes and child molestation involving two 14-year-old boys. <br> <br> Police say at least eight cases are being investigated. <br> <br> Summers has denied the allegations. <br> <br> She was released on a $12,206 bond Wednesday afternoon.
