Police arrest suspect for murder of mother

FOREST PARK - Police have arrested a suspect for the murder of a Forest Park mother found slain in her home. <br> <br> Thirty-seven-year-old Gerald Hall is accused of stabbing and shooting 35-year-old Barbara Harris. Hall and Harris have an 11-year old son. <br> <br> According to police, the 11-year-old and his father came to Harris&#39; home on August 28 to get some football equipment and found Harris dead inside. <br> <br> The police affidavit said there appeared to be a struggle. A knife was found bent along with clumbs of Harris&#39; hair. <br> <br> Police say there is a history of harassing phone calls and physical altercations between Hall and Harris. The two apparently had a custody battle over the son. <br> <br> The victim&#39;s two-year-old daughter was in the house. Police think she may have witnessed the murder. <br> <br> The children are in protective custody.
