Teenagers charges in three slayings

UNION CITY - Two teenagers accused of murdering three people, including a security guard in a retirement home, were indicted Friday. <br> <br> Siemontray Shavon Byrum, 15, and Octavious Stready, 18, have been charged with murder and armed robbery. <br> <br> They are accused of killing John Michael Shore, 26, Allison Lynn Smith, 19, both of Stockbridge; and 56-year-old security guard Danny Ray Tucker of Fayetteville. <br> <br> Authorities said the shooting occurred outside Christian City, a nonprofit complex that includes a retirement home and a youth home. <br> <br> Police say Byrum and Stready killed Shore and Smith during a robbery. Tucker was most likely killed after he heard a gunshot and went to investigate, said Union City Police Chief Mike Isome. <br> <br> About 1,000 people live in Christian City, according to its Web site. It operates a home for children, a convalescent center, Sparks Inn Retirement Center and other retirement homes and apartments. Its first facility, a children&#39;s home, opened in 1965.
