High school student charged in rape of 15-year-old girl

DALTON - A Dalton High School quarterback turned himself in Friday after he was charged with rape. <br>

Charges against David Christopher Raymond, 18, stem from accusations that he forced a 15-year-old girl into having sex in his car in July. <br>
<br>
The girl said she was afraid to tell her mother about the alleged incident but told her friends. <br>
<br>
A Whitfield County grand jury on Thursday indicted Raymond on charges of rape, aggravated sodomy and aggravated child molestation. <br>
<br>
Raymond is out of jail on $25,000 bond.
