CANTON - A teenager accused of statutory rape and child molestation of a 15-year-old Cherokee County girl has been charged with three additional crimes. <br>

Jamerson Douglas Mangrum, 17, of Acworth, was charged Friday with aggravated child molestation, improper disposal of a body and tampering with evidence in the death of Katie Hamlin, whose burned body was found in a dry creek bed July 2. <br>

He was arrested July 11 and charged with statutory rape, cruelty to children, making a false statement and child molestation. <br>
<br>
Mangrum is being held without bond at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. <br>
<br>
Authorities still have not said how Katie died, and no one has been charged with homicide.
