ATLANTA - The Public Service Commission is expected to vote Tuesday on new rules for the natural gas deregulation law. <br>

The rules -- expected to take effect next month -- include tighter standards over marketer billing practices and service shutoffs for nonpayment of bills. Also included: new service quality standards over Atlanta Gas Light Company and gas marketers. <br>

The law was enacted by state lawmakers last April.
