EAST POINT - Child welfare officials are investigating injuries to a three-year-old East Point girl. <br>

The girl may be taken off life-support Wednesday. <br>

The Department of Family and Children Services released a statement to WAGA-TV in Atlanta confirming they are trying to determine how the girl was injured. <br>

Neighbors say the girl was being taken care of by her 11-year-old brother when she was injured. <br>
<br>
The children live with their maternal grandmother. <br>
<br>
Neighbors also say they had called child welfare officials in the past about the child's injuries.
