JERUSALEM - Israel said it's coming back to the West Bank with plans to stay awhile in response to the latest suicide bombing.
A government statement said Israel will retake parts of the West Bank and hold them as long as terror attacks continue. 19 people were killed in the attack on a bus.
The statement, issued after late-night consultations between Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his top Cabinet ministers, said Israel is changing the way it responds ``to murderous acts of terror.''
Palestinian security officials said Israeli tanks have moved into the West Bank town of Jenin, cutting the town off from an adjacent refugee camp. Then tanks moved into the camp as attack helicopters fired from above. The Israeli military had no immediate comment.
