Valdosta man charged with murder in argument death

VALDOSTA - A charge of aggravated assault was upgraded to murder after the victim died in the hospital as the result of a head injury following an argument at the suspect&#39;s house. <br> <br> Edgar Wilson Scott II, 29, died Saturday night of a severe head trauma about 24 hours after he was struck in the head with a metal object. Valdosta police Sgt. Steve Owens said. William Merrill Snyder, 33, was charged in Scott&#39;s death, Owens said. <br> <br> According to the police report Scott went to Snyder&#39;s residence Friday night and an argument ensued; Snyder asked Scott to leave, but he refused; Scott allegedly pushed Snyder, who then struck Scott.
