Georgia man pleads innocent to disrupting flight

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - A Georgia man has pleaded innocent to charges he disrupted a Northwest Airlines flight to Japan a week ago. <br> <br> Forty-seven-year-old William Mullis faces one felony charge of interfering with a flight crew. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. <br> <br> Prosecutors say the flight from Detroit to Tokyo on June 13 was diverted when Mullis became unruly. <br> <br> According to an FBI affidavit, Mullis consumed three drinks and another bottle of alcohol he brought on board, walked around the plane when he wasn&#39;t supposed to, kissed babies, swore at people, smoked in the restroom and threatened a flight attendant. <br> <br> Mullis was released to an Anchorage halfway house Wednesday.
