DECATUR - Authorities confiscated more than a ton of marijuana and arrested three men in DeKalb County after intercepting a drug shipment on a tip. <br>

U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents and DeKalb police said Monday that they were informed that a large amount of marijuana would be delivered to a scrap yard last Thursday night. <br>

The agents observed several men moving 30-pound bales of marijuana wrapped in cellophane from the truck to a van. Three men were arrested, but several escaped. <br>
<br>
The agents also found a suitcase containing $100,000 dollars in cash. <br>
<br>
They identified the men who were arrested as Roberto Lopez, 36, of Forest Park; Jose Velasquez-Martinez, 24, of Wilson, N.C.; and Carlos Villanueva, 23, of Atlanta. <br>
<br>
John Andrejko, DEA special agent in charge in Atlanta, said the investigation will continue. <br>
<br>
On Friday, agents also raided an apartment in DeKalb County and found $1 million dollars in cash. They said they arrested Juan Polvos-Mancilla of Tijuana, Mexico. <br>
