Juvenile still in jail after fatal wreck

CARROLLTON - A 16-year-old boy remains in a juvenile detention center and faces felony vehicular homicide charges in connection with a fatal crash. <br> <br> Carroll County Sheriff Terry Langley says deputies were chasing the teen who drove off in his father&#39;s pickup truck after a fight. <br> <br> Authorities say he ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle head-on Thursday, instantly killing 71-year-old Mable McLean Cunningham of Villa Rica. She was the mother of Carroll sheriff&#39;s Deputy Earl Head. <br> <br> Cunningham was on her way to work at the Fifties Diner when the pickup truck crashed into her sport-utility vehicle. <br> <br> The teen -- whose name has not been released -- is scheduled for a court appearance July 11 and faces charges of vehicular homicide, motor vehicle theft, driving under the influence and battery.
