FOREST PARK - A Forest Park teen-ager has turned himself over to authorities in connection with a convenience store shooting that left one man dead and his wife wounded.
Authorities say the shooting apparently stemmed from an argument involving the couple's teen-age daughter.
Clayton County police Major Doug Jewett says 17-year-old Deangelo Hall is charged with aggravated assault in the shooting that happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Thirty-nine-year-old Duane Sain was shot in the leg, chest and head and died at the scene. His wife - 34-year-old Deidre Sain - was shot in the forearm and was treated and released from the hospital.
Jewett says the argument started when a male teen-ager called Sain's home wanting to speak to his daughter, whose age and name were not disclosed. An argument ensued, and the father agreed to meet the teen at the convenience store.
Jewett says Sain and his wife were met by four teen-age males when the couple pulled up in a car.
