ATLANTA - Police continue to investigate a deadly shooting at an upscale Buckhead mall Thursday night.
Authorities say two people were shot to death in a parking deck of the Phipps Plaza shopping mall.
The shooting occurred outside a Saks Fifth Avenue store shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday night, says police spokesman John Quigley.
``It appears to be drug-related,'' Sgt. Louie Torres said at the scene.
One person was dead at the scene. The second person was taken to a hospital and later died, police said.
Torres said one of the victims, who was in his early 20s, was found in the parking lot dead of multiple gunshot wounds. The other, he said, was in the vestibule of the Saks store, shot once.
Shaun Boyce, 30, a shoe store employee who was shopping at Saks, said she went to the parking deck and saw a victim doubled over on the ground. She said she could not tell where he had been shot.
