NEWNAN - Authorities have arrested three men in connection with a gruesome discovery in the back of a pickup truck on Interstate 85 in Coweta County.
Three Hispanic men were found April 29th buried under potting soil in the bed of the truck. The men died of gunshot wounds, investigators said.
Michael Johnson, 47, and Lequanan Parks, 23, were each charged with three counts of concealing a death. They remained in the Coweta County Jail after being charged on Friday.
Earlier last week, authorities arrested Gary Simpson, 39, of Atlanta on the same charges. His house was the last known place the men were seen. They had been doing groundskeeping.
Coweta County Sheriff Mike Yeager said investigators searched Simpson's house because they felt, ``there was enough probable cause the actual murders took place there.''
In addition to county officials, agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Newnan Police department, Atlanta Police Department and Coweta County District Attorney's Office searched the property.
Several empty bags of the same brand of potting soil that covered the victims were found during the search.
No motive has been established in the killings.
