CANTON - A Cherokee High School student charged with second-degree vehicular homicide pleaded innocent Tuesday. <br>

Zachary Alan Cochran, 17, of Holly Springs, was charged in connection with the Jan. 22 death of a teen who was fatally injured when he fell off a pickup truck. Cochran was the driver of the pickup truck. <br>

Joshua Reider, 15, died while helping teammates move lockers for the baseball team. Last month, school district officials decided the accident did not warrant disciplinary action against baseball coach Mike Collins. Reider was moving the lockers at Collins' request. <br>

Cochran's next court date was scheduled for June 25.
