ATLANTA - The body of a man found bound and gagged on the grounds of a north Atlanta church school has been identified as that of a driver for the city's transit system.
Police said yesterday the body is that of 45-year-old Bobby Jackson. He was a driver for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
MARTA spokeswoman Steen Miles says Jackson started with the system in July 2001.
He was off duty at the time he was attacked. Police say he was found without his jewelry and wallet.
The man's hands were tied behind him and his mouth was covered with duct tape. Authorities believe he was strangled or smothered.
