ATLANTA - Police said the driver of a rental truck was in custody after crashing through a fence Thursday at a Northwest Airlines facility at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport and striking nine cars.
Sergeant S.P. Hutchins said 40-year-old William Phillips Junior had gotten into a dispute with another driver on Interstate 75.

Hutchins said, ``The guy driving a Ryder (rental) truck apparently got a little irritated at another driver. The car tried to get around him, but the truck cut him off a couple of times before they both got off the highway at Aviation Boulevard.''
Hutchins said a short distance later, the Ryder driver ran a stop sign and the truck sideswiped two cars.
He said the truck then cut across the median and crashed through the fence at the Northwest Airlines training facility parking lot, hitting nine more cars.
Phillips was charged with aggressive driving and a number of other traffic violations.
