JONESBORO - A 7-year-old girl and a 31-year-old woman died in Clayton County in a weekend accident involving a minivan and a car. <br>

Authorities said Gueva Ross of Morrow was driving a 1990 Honda Accord northbound on Jonesboro Road about 3:45 p.m. Saturday. It was unclear why she crossed the center line but she ran head-on into a Ford Windstar minivan. <br>

Ross was pronounced dead at Southern Regional Medical Center. <br>
<br>
The 7-year-girl, a front-seat passenger in the Accord, died later Saturday at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. <br>
<br>
Two other children, ages 6 and 10, also were in the Accord. Clayton police officer Ken Waits said the 10-year-old boy was in good condition at Southern Regional and the 6-year-old boy was in critical condition Sunday at Scottish Rite. <br>

Police said the chidren were related to Ross but it was not determined how they were related. <br>
<br>
The driver and passenger of the minivan were treated and released from Southern Regional. <br>
