ATLANTA - Federal authorities arrested 12 people who are accused of taking part in a two-state drug ring, and more arrests are expected. <br>

The ring sold at least $1.3 million in cocaine and heroin in metro Atlanta and also operated in Birmingham and Anniston, Ala., the U.S. Attorney's Office said Thursday. <br>

A federal grand jury returned indictments in January. The 12 who have been arrested were from the Atlanta area, except for one from Orlando, Florida.
