Two more Georgia men arrested as part of child-porn crackdown

ATLANTA - Two more Georgia men were arrested Tuesday as part of a nationwide crackdown on child pornography on the Internet. <br>

The U.S. Attorney's Office said Joseph Lynn Brown, a 49-year-old laborer from Calhoun, was charged with receiving and producing child pornography. George W. Cummings III, a product inspector from Chickamauga, was charged with receiving child pornography. <br>
<br>
The first phase of the federal investigation called ``Operation Candyman'' has led to dozens of arrests in at least 26 states. <br>
<br>
Among those charged Monday were Michael Frost, 31, of Duluth; Michael L. Kile, 31, of Bowdon; Carl Langley, 55, of Stone Mountain; and Ronald Vaughn, 49, of Decatur. <br>
<br>
Another man, Robert Burford, 19, of Lawrenceville was arrested earlier as part of the investigation. He pleaded guilty to the same charge March 1, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. <br>
<br>
The effort has led to more than 231 searches and arrests of 27 people who admitted to molesting children, Attorney General John Ashcroft said Monday.
