ATLANTA - Fire officials said safety devices worked properly and put out a blaze at a plant off Fulton Industrial Boulevard south of Interstate 20 early Wednesday. <br>

The explosion happened at the Owens Corning plant in southwest Atlanta shortly before 7 a.m. Fire officials said pressure built up in one of the tanks on site. <br>

The Owens Corning plant produces asphalt. <br>

No injuries were reported.
