ATLANTA - A new Georgia Tech study will delve into the driving behaviors and patterns in metro Atlanta.
Researchers at Georgia Tech are wiring 1,600 cars of Atlanta drivers with computers and satellite communications gear.

Those cars will be tracked, second by second, for the next two-to-three years.
The study will track the drivers' acceleration, speed, mileage, wrecks and braking patterns. It will also record the sexes and ages of the drivers, who have also been asked to keep a diary of their driving activity.
