LAREDO, TEXAS - A former Webb County sheriff's deputy has been charged in the death of an unidentified homeless man in Laredo, Texas. <br>

Police on Sunday arrested Jose Luis Rodriguez Junior at the Salvation Army, where he had been staying, hours after the body was found in an abandoned home. <br>

Police say Rodriguez had warrants out of Georgia for failure to appear in court and bail jumping. <br>
<br>
Preliminary reports indicate the victim suffered wounds to the head and was stabbed several times. <br>
<br>
Rodriguez has not posted bond set at $200,000.
