Municipal Court Judge Clinton Deveaux has agreed to reduce the charges against Nakia Burgess from felony murder to involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct.
Burgess was arrested October Second after leaving her three-year-old daughter - Asan'te - alone in the car while the 28-year-old went to work in an Atlanta office.
Burgess says she left the child in the car because her day care had fallen through.
