Charges reduced against woman whose child died in hot car

ATLANTA - A judge has reduced charges against a woman whose daughter died of heat exhaustion after being left in a hot car. <br> <br> Municipal Court Judge Clinton Deveaux has agreed to reduce the charges against Nakia Burgess from felony murder to involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct. <br> <br> Burgess was arrested October Second after leaving her three-year-old daughter - Asan&#39;te - alone in the car while the 28-year-old went to work in an Atlanta office. <br> <br> Burgess says she left the child in the car because her day care had fallen through.
