ATLANTA - Zack, the state's arson dog, retired Wednesday after a seven-year career sniffing out suspicious fires and helping investigators make more than 100 arrests. <br>

Zack, a Labrador retriever who was involved in more than 700 fire investigations, was honored by the Arson Unit at a retirement party. <br>
<br>
He was born in December 1991 and got the job in May 1995 as the state's second arson dog. <br>
<br>
Zack will spend his retirement with his handler, Ty Moorman. <br>
<br>
He will be replaced by Bonnie, a chocolate black Labrador retriever, who just graduated from training in Maine. Bonnie joins Savannah and Georgia, the other arson dogs employed by the state.
