Tree cutter killed by falling limb

ATLANTA - A tree cutter working near the top of a tall pine was killed Saturday by a falling limb.<br> <br> Donnie Hudgens was cutting limbs behind a house in Buckhead when the accident occurred. He dangled 80 feet above the ground for about two and a half hours before he was rescued by a firefighter.<br> <br> &#34;It appears to be a freak accident, that the limb fell in a different direction than it was supposed to,&#34; said Jolene Butts-Freeman, spokeswoman for the Atlanta Fire department.<br> <br> An autopsy will be performed by the Fulton County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.<br> <br>
