ALPHARETTA - Police have accused a doctor Monday night of having sex with a 13-year-old girl in exchange for falsifying drug tests for her 15-year-old boyfriend and his father.
Doctor James Ray Pattillo of Marietta was charged with statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
The victim told police that she had sex with 56-year-old Pattillo, on October Second in the boyfriend's suburban Atlanta home. In exchange for the sex, the doctor -- a contractor for the state Division of Family and Children Services -- promised to report clean drug tests for her boyfriend and his father. Police say the boyfriend also paid the girl about $150.
The girl told her mother and they reported it to police.
A spokesman for DFACS say the agency was testing the family because of reports of child neglect in the house.
Pattillo had been working with DFACS since 1991 and had passed a background check. His contract with DFACS has been terminated.
Alpharetta police tried to arrest Pattillo this evening, but he was not at home.
Calls to Pattillo's home by The Associated Press were not immediately returned.
The 15-year-old boy has been charged with one count of pimping and one count of pandering and was being held in a youth detention facility.
