ATLANTA - Two men in their 20s were shot in unrelated killings in northwest Atlanta this weekend, police said. <br>

Investigators said they didn't have suspects or motives in either of the deaths late Friday night. <br>

Jeremy Horton was shot at least seven times in the back as he walked back to his apartment after taking out the trash after 11 p.m., said Detective Carven Tyus. There were no reports of anyone fleeing the scene. <br>

An hour earlier, 21-year-old Kenneth Whitaker was shot in the lower back by a man who ran away, Tyus said. <br>
<br>
Neither of the two men were robbed after they were shot, Tyus said.
