ATLANTA - Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found early Tuesday on a road near Interstate 285 in northwest Atlanta. <br>

A motorist found the body about 5 a.m. and called police. <br>

Investigators say it appears the woman sustained some sort of injury to the head. The cause of death and her identity are not yet known.
