State offices close because of weather

ATLANTA - A Department of Transportation spokeswoman says officials are closing all state offices across Georgia because of the snowy weather. <br> <br> D-O-T spokeswoman Karlene Barron says the offices were ordered closed this morning because rural roads in many areas were causing travel problems. <br> <br> Snow is continuing to fall in the state. <br> <br> A band that dumped two more inches of snow in Fayette and Coweta counties before daybreak is now bringing snow to the Atlanta area. <br> <br> A meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City -- Matt Sena -- says the band is moving toward the east and will cause more snowfall in Clayton, Henry, Spalding, Rockdale and DeKalb, where another two inches are possible before the snow tapers off. <br> <br> The Weather Service says lows tonight will be in the 20s and upper teens so whatever is on the ground will freeze. Tomorrow, plenty of sunshine is expected to push temperatures well above freezing by midday. Lows tomorrow night are expected to be in the 20s again. <br> <br>
