Unidentified body found burned in Savannah building

SAVANNAH - The body of what appears to be an adult male was found in a west Savannah building on fire early Friday. <br>

Savannah police discovered the body after responding to a blaze in an abandoned building behind a new Courtyard by Marriott motel. Fire crews answered the call about 2:15 a.m. <br>
<br>
Firefighters extinguished the fire, discovering the body inside. <br>
<br>
The remains will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab for an autopsy. Investigators have not yet identified the victim.
