Fletcher was 5 of 10 from the 3-point line and Pettway was 4 of 7. Robert Rushing scored 12 points and had five assists and Donnie Pemberton added 10 for Troy State (10-6, 6-3 Atlantic Sun Conference). <br>

The Trojans won despite being outshot 45.8 percent to 40.7 percent by Mercer (3-15, 1-8). <br>

Justin Howard led Mercer with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Aleem Muhammed scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds and seven assists. <br>
