Mercer falls to Troy St., 71-65

TROY, ALABAMA - Ben Fletcher scored 22 points and Lacedrick Pettway added 18 and had nine rebounds as Troy State beat Mercer 71-65 Wednesday night. <br>

Fletcher was 5 of 10 from the 3-point line and Pettway was 4 of 7. Robert Rushing scored 12 points and had five assists and Donnie Pemberton added 10 for Troy State (10-6, 6-3 Atlantic Sun Conference). <br>

The Trojans won despite being outshot 45.8 percent to 40.7 percent by Mercer (3-15, 1-8). <br>
<br>
Justin Howard led Mercer with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Aleem Muhammed scored 13 points and had 10 rebounds and seven assists. <br>
<br>
Troy State led 26-25 at halftime. <br>
<br>
The Trojans scored 13 points off of turnovers to Mercer's 3.
